Boot Camp Roof Signs 

We received this Review on Google...

I provided clear instructions and my digital logo, but the final product is a disaster. It honestly looks like a 'Temu version' of my actual design.

​The colors are completely off; my logo is a professional, dark orange, but he delivered a cheap looking neon orange. To make it worse, the layout is a mess. The slogan is visibly slanted an error he actually admitted to my face before I left, claiming he 'couldn't get it straight.'

He gave a misleading quote of €97 including VAT, but then charged and added VAT on top of that of the original quote.

​He also added elements I never asked for, He refuses to fix these mistakes. Be very careful before paying this man; he cares more about his own ideas than the customer's branding.
I recommend going to a professional to get your branding done, don't waste your time here.             

OUR RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE...

A Communication Timeline...
1st Jan 2026. Jamie initiated and order for 2 new roof signs, purchased by 2 franchisees.

1st Jan 2026.Received an Email Sample of
Boot Camp Logo, suggesting, minor changes

Hi Des, We just want the boot on the sides like in the mock image of the roof sign instead of "L" and the adi number. The number will be 0858825281 on all of them as we will be using that number for all incoming calls from now on. Hope this clears it up for you

Thanks for that.  “ I have two oranges with "slight variations" in colour in stock”. Maybe you could give me a heads up of signs samples attached before I proceed. In relation to payment Please follow this link to our contact page where you will find apay pal link.  I will need the telephone numbers you want on each sign and as we dress the sides of the signs with a L and their ADI number Free, if you want them on each sign please give telephone number with a matching ADI number...Regards Des 

Jan 2nd Work was undertaken on the Boot Camp Driving School Logo and mock up sample sent by email by us and received by Jamie for approval. This was accepted. 

Jan 2nd Mock-up sample approved by Jamie

Jan 3rd Roof Signs made  and
“Actual Images Sent” to Jamie before collection (see image 2)
Jan 4th Jamie contacts to enquire about a quote for another 3 roof signs re-branded similar to what was sent to him (again including VAT) and approved by him.
Jan 4th Invoice sent to him for 3 roof signs to be stripped, cleaned and rebranded. This price included VAT clearly marked and included.

Jan 5th Jamie replies with an email to say he will strip them himself.

Jan 6th A revised (downward) invoice was sent (again including VAT)

Jan 6th 2 re branded signs collected  

Jan 7th to 13th Between these dates these two roof signs are in the possession of Boot Camp Driving School) an “adequate time” to view and revert to us

Jan 13th Jamie by appointment hand delivered (4) roof signs one more that quoted

Jan 13th Worked on rebranding of all 4 Boot Camp Roof Signs. (Exactly the same as the previous 2 roof signs collected over a week previous).

Jan 13th Images of all 4 signs were sent to Jamie (Boot Camp Driving School)

Jan 14th Jamie arranges to collect roof signs himself in the PM on Jan 14th
(CCTV captures him commenting on how well the signs looked)

Jan 14th A separate invoice was issued for the additional (again with VAT included)

Jan 4th  Pays by credit card

Jan 15th We receive and email stating the orange was not orange enough? (see email)

NOW… After collecting the first 2 signs ordered and then ordering the 4 Roof Signs over a week later ….

It was the following morning that we received this complaint about The Colour Being Wrong, referencing “The Colour Orange for the top line”. Again I stated that he did not give clear instructions regarding any specific colour or code and I referred him to our initial email. (see email) I explained If he had gave me a “colour code  similar to chart” I would have ordered it in and re- plot them again, in whatever Orange he wanted, provided he gave me the “colour code” but it wouldn’t be free!

I, also asked why did he not raise this issue when the initial two roof signs were delivered to Boot Camp, over a week previous ?????

He put down the phone and placed the above review!  

Sometime later an abusive telephone call was received by someone called Eamon, from Boot Camp Driving School, he commenced and continued shouting down the telephone, with threatening and abusive language, without listening to any explanation.

I stated that I wasn’t here to be abused or threatened and if he didn’t stop shouting in a threatening manner and listen he would get an explanation. He continued shouting, saying he wasn’t going to pay for our mistake and you will f'n do it..  

I, said that he will now have to put his complaint in writing and I cannot deal with a bully, and I put the phone down.    
Can you spot a colour difference from what we received as a sample and what was given as a roof sign??

One week later a request for

re-branded and he arrived with a further one, making 4 in total.
All based on the exact same material as first two roof collected

Anyone, looking on our website reviews from “verified clients” will see we that we are diligent in
all our work.  

We make no apologies for not undertaking a clients mistake free  free, we followed the remit we were given. I suggested that had he given me the colour or code I would have had to order that in?

We, all know that there are over 40 shades of green, I read that are 50 shades of gray .... But we all know that!!! 

We all have decorated a room in our house to know, that every colour has a different shade as has every T.V or computer have different settings! 

When ordering anything personalised or indeed, if you need a particular colour. Give the information!!! Tell us exactly what you want or need and we will deliver that!... not simply that ...one is darker than the other?
