What better way to use your training vehicle to get a message out there and increase business. If done tactfully, magnetic advertising is one of the cheapest ways to advertise. Magnetic Door Panels As stated magnetics are ideal for getting your message across when giving tuition and at the same time allows the car for private use by simply removing them and placing in the car boot along with your magnetic roof sign. All our magnetics come with text on a white background, unless otherwise stated in the customer section of the checkout. You may also select from the most popular size available Care for Your New Product & Instructions Before Use Magnetic panels are made from easy-clean gloss white transport approved fully magnetic sheeting with a protective coating on the reverse to protect car bodywork. Standard size for door panels is 600x200mm (24” x 8”approx) which is suitable for most vehicles. Other sizes can be cut on request. If your decal has arrived in a roll or appears creased or curled, lay in a warm place on a flat surface for a few hours or overnight. A useful tip is to place on the warm side of a fridge or freezer. Ensure that both the vehicle panel and the underside of the decal is clean, dry and free of dust, grit and ice before applying. Positioning The whole decal must be placed to ensure that the magnetic sheet has maximum contact with a ferrous metal surface. Do not attempt to place decal over a door panel crease or hollow as the risk of not making full contact may result in air getting underneath and blowing away while driving. In adverse weather conditions such as strong winds, remove decals from vehicle. DO NOT exceed the legal speed limit Removal Lift corner and peel off! Never drag a panel, as any grit trapped underneath, you could scratch the paintwork. You must regularly (every 2-3 days) remove the panels. This is particularly important in hot weather when you are recommended to remove the panels at the end of every day and always remove before going through a car wash Quality Comes First? We use only "transport approved magnetic sheeting" which we cut to size. You could get cheaper, but why suffer a loss of quality, non transport is lighter and does not have the same magnetic quality and can blow off all too easily in the wind. We supply instructions with our signage products, but repeat them here so you always have access to and for the benefit of preview before you buy. Precaution Before Use: If your decal has arrived in a roll or appears creased, lay in a warm place on a flat surface for a few hours or overnight. A useful tip is to place on the warm side of a fridge or freezer. Ensure that both the vehicle panel and the underside of the decal is clean, dry and free of dust, grit and ice before applying. The whole decal must be placed to ensure that the magnetic sheet has "maximum contact with a ferrous surface" Do not attempt to place decal over a panel crease or hollow. Do not exceed the legal speed limit. In adverse weather conditions such as strong winds, remove decals from vehicle. Positioning : Do not drag decals over or across the vehicle, If any grit is trapped, you could scratch the paintwork. When removing simply lift from a corner and pull away from the vehicle body and reverse this for placing Important: You must regularly (every 2-3 days) remove the panels and clean/wax the bodywork behind them. This is particularly important in hot weather when you are recommended to remove the panels at the end of every day. Likewise, when there is danger of overnight frost/ice, remove the panels otherwise ice can creep behind them. Note: That the material will stiffen in cold weather increasing the risk of loss in windy conditions. The magnetic properties of the sheet comply with European standards and are "Transport Approved" as suitable for use on vehicles. However, as neither we nor the manufacturer have any control over how the magnetic decals are used or maintained, we do not give any guarantee that decals will not fall off the vehicle during use. Storage: Magnetic decals are best kept by placing on a flat surface in a cool dry environment. Applying excessive heat can reduce the magnetic properties of the material. Long term storage against other magnets can also damage your signs. The use of magnetic sheet for vehicle signs may, in exceptional circumstances, result in damage to vehicle paintwork. The advice above is given to minimise the risk of such damage occurring. Whilst extensive tests by the manufacturer have not given rise to incidences of paintwork damage whilst following the advice in this care sheet, neither the manufacturer nor Driving School Supplies guarantee that there will not be an adverse reaction between the magnetic sheet and the vehicle paintwork, should you be concerned you may purchase protective film, please see products in-store Go to our Vehicle Magnetic section of our website |
